Mercer House delivers a fully configured automation pipeline: a cloud-hosted execution engine paired with a condition-based strategy editor, a historical data vault, and direct API bridges to your chosen broker. A typical onboarding takes five to ten business days — we import your existing rules, run a backtesting validation against the last twelve months of instrument data, and connect to your live account in paper-trading mode first. You review the simulation results, confirm risk parameter settings, and only then do we enable live execution. There is no black box: every decision the engine makes is logged in plain-language audit records you can export at any time. Deliverables include the configured pipeline, a risk parameter guide, and a 60-day onboarding support window.
What each service layer covers.
Strategy Automation
Define entry signals, exit conditions, time filters, and position sizing in a structured rule editor. The engine translates those rules into exchange-ready orders in under 200 milliseconds. Mercer House does not sell or supply strategies — you bring your edge; we enforce it with precision across every market session.
Backtesting & Validation
Access a historical data vault covering equity indices, FX pairs, and commodity futures at tick resolution going back five years. Each backtest produces a full trade ledger, drawdown chart, Sharpe ratio estimate, and a plain-language risk summary. Commission and realistic slippage are applied by default so that results reflect what execution actually costs.
Risk Controls Configuration
Set daily drawdown ceilings, per-instrument loss limits, max simultaneous open positions, and volatility-triggered pause thresholds. These rules are evaluated at the pre-order stage — not as a post-hoc report. If a rule is breached mid-session, the engine suspends new orders and notifies you via email and in-dashboard alert simultaneously.
Broker Integration
Mercer House maintains standardised connectors for major retail brokers accessible from Romania and EU jurisdictions. Your strategy logic stays broker-agnostic: swap or add a venue by selecting it in the dashboard; the routing layer handles authentication and order-format translation without strategy edits.
Monitoring Dashboard
The teal-modern live dashboard surfaces open positions, cumulative P&L, fill history, risk-gauge readings, and system health indicators in a single screen. Push notifications alert you to material events — halt triggers, connectivity drops, or threshold breaches — without requiring you to watch the screen continuously.
What Mercer House does not cover.
Mercer House is an automation and risk-control tool, not an advisory service. We do not provide trading signals, investment recommendations, or managed accounts. The strategies you automate remain yours entirely — their profitability depends on market conditions and the quality of the logic you supply. We also do not offer execution for highly regulated product classes such as derivatives requiring specific MiFID II documentation; it is your responsibility to verify that your broker and strategy comply with applicable Romanian and EU regulations. Support response times are within one business day for standard-tier clients; platform-wide incidents affecting execution are addressed as a priority regardless of tier.
“The broker integration took us less than an afternoon. We had been running a manual desk for three years and the transition to automated execution felt controlled at every step — particularly because we could see the paper-trading results before anything went live. The audit log is the feature we use most during end-of-week review.”
