Do I need programming experience to use Mercer House?
No. Strategy logic is entered through a structured condition editor — if-then rules with dropdown fields for signal type, instrument, timeframe, and action. Clients who do have coding experience can also submit logic in a standard pseudocode format that our team converts during onboarding.
Which brokers are currently supported?
We maintain connectors for major retail and ECN brokers accessible from Romanian and EU accounts. The exact list is provided during the onboarding call because connector availability can change with broker API updates. We add new connectors on a rolling basis based on client demand.
What happens if the platform experiences a connectivity outage?
Outages are detected by a heartbeat monitor that runs independently of the execution engine. When a connection to your broker drops, new orders are suspended immediately and you receive a push notification. Existing open positions remain open at the broker level; you retain full manual control through your broker's own interface at all times.
Can I change my plan mid-month?
You may upgrade at any time; the cost difference is prorated from the date of change. Downgrades take effect at the start of the following billing cycle. There is no lock-in contract on monthly billing — you may cancel before the next cycle begins.
Does the platform guarantee trading results?
No. Mercer House is an execution and risk-control tool. The market outcome of any strategy depends on market conditions, your strategy's logic, and factors outside our control. Our role is to execute your rules with precision and to stop execution when your own risk limits are reached — not to generate returns.
